CLOUDSOFUNKNOWING

With cloudsofunknowing Stefanie Salzmann presents a series of textile works based on Blacknose sheep wool created in connection with an artist's residence in Oaxaca, Mexico. Investigations on the significance of craftsmanship in a highly digitalised age are the driving force behind her work. The encounters with craftsmen and curiosity about native natural dyes have influenced the transformation of the wool into the presented storytelling textiles.
