Bozu stories are folk tales from the swiss Alpes telling about lost souls trapped between life and death. How is this state of not having a body? In this series of soft sculptures, I investigate the absence of a body while explicitly referring to its expressions. By looking at the form, we also experience the intimate gestures, the touching and braiding of wool to guide the braids. The Bozu sculptures combine the industrially produced readymade, delicate-washing bag with the hand-worked, knotted, and embroidered wool.
